Ignum is the energy inside Nihil and Vitae, which can flow through when a sentient being experiences extreme emotions or experiences.
Ignum is not a typical energy source in that it cannot be stored[1], only harnessed: it instead turns into whatever energy source the one causing the Ignum to flow requires, or whatever energy source is currently being drained from the target. This can include electricity, Viw, or more complex things like physical energy and strength in a person.
Ignum is highly volatile but one of the best sources of Viw, leading to some factions and cults creating entire businesses around trying to get people to just below the point where an Abberation or Celestial will appear.
Whist ignum cannot as of yet be stored in its pure form, Nihil and Vitae both contain an incalculable amount of unstable pure ignum.↩︎
