Viw is the energy that is created and used while creating scripts and controllers in hexagonal shapes. Viw is the main driving force in technology other than electronics, with the combination of both allowing many groups to rise up above others with higher levels of one or the other.

Graphite and Boron nitride are the most common chemicals used for Viw storage, with graphene being a good conductor, and Boron nitride as a good insulator.

<Viw can be technically stored and used in any hexagonal shape, including on a macro-scale, however this is often unstable due to the precision and high amount of energy needed>

Viw storage is relatively easy, with high concentrations of Viw taking up very little. The creation of Viw is the main limitation, being an incredibly slow and size-extensive (but relatively cheap) process.

The six fundamentals of Viw are, in clockwise order from the top:

Manipulation of Matter
Energy
Entanglement
Creation of matter
Fields
Gravity

<Gravity refers to the curvature of spacetime, and does not directly relate to the mass of objects, or the gravity created by moving/rotating objects.>

The colours given are based on the colour of light that is created when the fundamental is used with a small amount of Energy.
Manipulation of Matter is oftentimes also considered black, as the colour produced is a very dark purple.

Harnessing Viw can be done through hexagonal controllers, the most common of which being the simple design of a Hex plate -A metal hexagon which is connected together with a form of wire-. small controllers often occur naturally in nature, including inside Hybrids and Druids. This is often shown in birds using it to sense danger, arthropods finding food, and some species of reptile on Santine beginning to show signs of advanced cellular regeneration, using the stored Viw of their pray.

A Viw script will always be active until either disconnected or removed from its source.

Viw scripts convert other connected hexagons into its own script down to the molecular level, leading to Viw storage being completely disconnected to its controllers to prevent accidental conversion.

Macro-scale Viw controllers can be done in any hexagonal form, including but not limited to:

For a Viw controller to "form", the lines between the points on the hexagon are not necessarily required, but without a smaller Viw controller to keep the points in-line they are often made anyway.
Macro-scale Viw controllers are unstable due to the high energy involved and constant disruptions from surrounding particles, objects, and forces. Having anything inside the controller can cause the script to target them instead of it's desired target, however having the controller in a vacuum makes these issues to be largely irrelevant.

If a controller breaks shape or formation mid script, the results are often minimal. However when singular bonds between points break, the script may continue to occur and can lead to catastrophic effects.

Creating a controller in its most basic form requires six points in a hexagonal shape, with a script consisting of anything that connects the points between themselves, and either a central point or the other vertices.
Connecting the vertices to the center leads to simpler and less powerful scripts, wheras connecting vertices to eachother leads to more diverse outcomes that often require more Viw for more powerful results.
The combination of both center and vertices is often worse than simply just the connection of vertices.

the most basic controller and script ever found in nature was the formation of six rocks on Thornid-V with a naturally occuring heating script, drawing Viw from the nearby graphite formations, creating a hotspring that has been turned into a popular tourist attraction.

Using Viw as an energy source can be done in it's simplest form by having a container of Viw (often called a Source) near to the Script. this can backfire if some other source containing more Viw is closer, potentially causing far too much Viw to flow through the script than expected.

To use Viw properly, most systems use a thin wire between the container and the controller, letting the Viw 'flow' up the wire, and into the script. where this wire connects between either source is a non-worry, as it will work so long as one 'connection' between the wire, source and controller are intact.
<What one can consider as a "connection" between a source and a controller is as unreliable to define as the connection between a controller and its script, as Entanglement scripts can use its own script as its connection to a source.>

The reason as to why Viw only works with hexagons, what the colours mean and how intention is fully decided is unknown, and by most is presumed to be a fundamental as unknowable to us as the "contents" of Nihil and Vitae is.
