Caymet is the System with the star Aure at its center.

Not much is known about the solar topology of Caymet, as they use Viw to prevent light from escaping the roughly 2-3 light year sphere around Aure, which contains a megastructure at least two light years in diameter.

Attempting to enter this sphere leads to any non-Caymet crafts near-instantly being obliterated, through mostly unknown means, with only AureRes crafts entering and leaving the bubble.

Several non-Caymet space stations and satellites surround this bubble, though most are little more than tourist attractions.

Caymet is known to have the highest level of technology of any group in the known galaxy, being capable of using Viw to create the shield around themselves, and being able to create (or at least send out) blueprints for advanced planet-wide Ignum Detectors, within around two weeks of the discovery of the String.

Caymet is known to use Viewplants along the common civilian Viw lines on the Common galaxy map.
